3 Weeks

Three week check up and Soft Food class was yesterday. I had lost an email address of a girl I wanted to stay in touch with, so I'm glad she was there. :) We ran into each other in the basement of the hospital (it has halls that connect to every building) and were able to talk a bit before class began.

SOFT FOODS! YEAH!

This entails stuff like fish, mozzarella, jerky (okay not really soft, but there are moister pieces out there!), etc. On my way home I bought a bunch of different things to try. Jerky is awesome :P

Started keeping track of what I put in my mouth. It's easier now that I can have more. Definitely going to be making sure I get 65+ grams of protein in a day now and I REALLY don't want to be drinking protein drinks anymore. I'm so tired of those. UCK.

I've decided I don't like the doctors scale (most people don't!). It added 5 pounds! I'm still at 28 pounds lost (I think that is what I posted last time isn't it?). Should help now that I'm attempting to get more protein. The more protein, the more weight loss! And of course all my liquids. I don't really have a problem with that...sugar free kool aid is awesome! hehe...

Our next check in is in 3 weeks.

  1. I don't like the official doctor's scales either, they consistently weigh me 3 pounds more than mine.

  2. OK, my point of view, not based on anything but me. Don't worry so much about the scales. Muscle is very heavy, fat not so much. Follow the plan that your Dr. laid out, and don't get cute about trading foods that are not on the list. Get your mind off the food, and think about a great, healthy future. The weight will come off, it's math and science, as long as you follow the Dr.'s plan !! Good luck and thin will happen..
