Overdue Update

I probably should have tried sticking to the monthly update but I got lazy.

I'm almost 5 months out from surgery - HOLY COW - it's kind of insane thinking that it was that long ago.

I need to step up the whole eating properly and working out, however. I'm down 85 pounds but fairly sure that I should be around 100 at this point. I blame the holidays. :) I've been off of work for the past (almost) 2 weeks which doesn't help in the least. It's nice to be back at work with a schedule rather then staying up all hours of the night, sleeping in late, and then failing to eat enough protein and more junk food! My quantities are still low, but the quality is the sucky part.

Anyway...that's where I stand! I think I will be going to my first support group meeting tomorrow! That's the plan anyway. Cycling class (oh yes, cycling!) is tomorrow also, but I'll skip that for the meeting.

Here's my game plan for the new year!

Workout:

Cycling Class every Tuesday
DDR (it's a blast AND an amazing workout!) most mornings before work

The only thing I need to incorporate is hitting the gym for weights and personal trainer. Not sure when I'll do that. Mornings are tough getting up at 5AM and the evenings are ridiculously busy (especially now with Resolutions!). I'm a sucker for scheduling my every hour on Outlook so I'll come up with something!

Food:

I need to either get with my Nutritionist or just do some research on my own and come up with a list of foods that are high in protein, low in fat, carbs, and calories. I'll probably try researching it myself before getting with my Nut.

I'm rather tired today, but feel this sense of energy for getting everything done! I'm not one for resolutions as I usually don't stick to them, but I've been envisioning my body as actually small and in shape, so I'm definitely wanting to get to that point!

I shall take some new pictures here on my 5 month!

Hope everyone had a WONDERFUL holiday season :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

  3. Thank you ladies!

I would like to update that after eating nothing but GOOD protein yesterday and drinking tons of liquid that I somehow lost 5 pounds overnight...ahahahahah... okay maybe most of it was sodium based or something :) feels good tho!

  4. I can't wait to see your updated photos. 85 pounds in 5 months is nothing to sneeze at. I need to up my proteins too! I have lost 115 and need to lose 8 more. It gets harder the farther out you are.
