Pre-Op

Went well!

I had to get up at 6:30 this morning...holy crap have I not gotten up before 8 in a really long time! I was tired. Took a shower, then drove my way downtown where I was actually early 'cause traffic was a breeze. They took me in early which was cool. Had blood drawn and now have a big bruise :( I had 2 pre-ops...one for the hospital and one for Dr. Snyder. His was like 3 min. long. He handed me some stuff, went over quiz (seriously...quiz) scores and then answered any questions I had. It was short! lol. I met a neat lady in the waiting room at the doctors. She just had the lapband and was super excited to share her experience. She's fun. We exchanged contact information. :)

Next Monday is the big day! I have to be there at 5:30 AM! YIKES!

    I just found this and caught up--I am proud of you for taking this step, and will definitely be praying for you on surgery day. I did have a laugh about you having to get up so early, as I leave for work about 6:25 am! Ha--yours sounds better!

    I wish I could come down for the big weekend bash with you and Amy. It has been a long time! Just watch out for flat tires.

    Ben and I will definitely see you and Dan while we are in the area. I am so excited to come home.
